How does Mes Cargo process the air transport of perishable cargo?

For the air transport of perishable cargo provided by Mes Fresh, Mes Cargo uses exclusively refrigerated lorries, which, by Client request, travel between aircraft holds and perishable goods movement centers anywhere in Europe.

During the flight, the aircraft’s temperature settings are constantly monitored to keep your cargo in perfect condition. For this purpose, the cargo goes directly to the air side facilities, thereby reducing transit time.

In addition to the monitoring, and in order to ensure that the goods do not suffer any damage and do not lose their properties while in the air, Mes Cargo maintains partnerships with facilities dedicated to the processing and packaging of perishable products in various locations. In Lisbon, along with the guarantee of excellent storage conditions, the goods are also controlled by Border Inspection Posts (BIP) approved by the European Union.
